Summary
This role requires the ability to build and maintain strong relationships across Microsoft, leveraging partner initiatives to drive revenue growth. You will play a key role in executing the company's MDR go to market (GTM) strategy, particularly in relation to the Microsoft Security solution area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Additional duties may be assigned as required)
Collaborative Sales Execution
Actively engage with Microsoft sales teams and key partners to identify, pursue, and close joint sales opportunities.
Drive pipeline growth through co-selling, ensuring Armor solutions are positioned as part of Microsoft-led deals.
Solution and Value Expertise
Develop deep expertise in both Armor’s and Microsoft’s solutions; translate technical capabilities into business outcomes for customers.
Craft compelling joint value propositions tailored to customer needs.
Opportunity Development & Management
Identify, qualify, and advance sales opportunities across key verticals and accounts.
Build and execute joint sales plans, account strategies, and win themes with Microsoft stakeholders.
Relationship Management & Influence
Cultivate strong relationships with Microsoft account executives, partner managers, and technical teams.
Serve as the key point of contact for Microsoft sellers, enabling and empowering them to position Armor.
Performance & Pipeline Management
Monitor joint sales performance, track KPIs, and deliver regular reporting on pipeline health and revenue outcomes.
Analyze results and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
Demand Generation & Go-to-Market (GTM)
Support co-marketing and demand generation campaigns to build awareness and drive leads.
Participate in joint events, webinars, and customer briefings to promote Armor + Microsoft solutions.
Sales Process Excellence
Navigate Microsoft’s co-sell frameworks and sales processes; ensure alignment with Armor’s internal procedures and deal governance.
Ensure timely and accurate opportunity registration, forecasting, and reporting.
Customer Engagement
Lead or support customer meetings, presentations, and negotiations, clearly articulating solution benefits and differentiators.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Proven Sales Track Record: 5–7 years in technology sales, with demonstrated success in driving revenue and closing complex deals.
Microsoft Ecosystem Experience: Strong familiarity with Microsoft’s Security Solutions and co-sell motions.
Relationship Builder: Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills; ability to build trust with senior Microsoft stakeholders and customers.
Strategic Thinker & Problem Solver: Able to analyze customer needs, design solutions, and craft winning strategies.
Collaborative Operator: Thrives in cross-functional environments; skilled at rallying internal teams and external partners toward a common goal.
Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using Microsoft sales tools (Partner Center, Co-sell, etc.); adaptable to learning new platforms.
Industry Knowledge (preferred): Familiarity with regulated industries (e.g., financial services, healthcare) is a plus.
Defined Co-Sell Framework: Clear roles, expectations, and reporting lines to maximize collaboration with Microsoft.
