The Impact You Will Have:

Liberty Home Guard is the country's fastest-growing and best-rated home warranty provider. We are looking for a Software Tester to ensure the quality and reliability of our proprietary software systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software testing and quality assurance, with a proven ability to identify, document, and resolve software issues. You will work closely with our Head of Product and Developer team to implement rigorous testing protocols, enhance software performance, and drive continuous improvement. This role requires a highly detail-oriented mindset and a proactive approach to maintaining software excellence.

Responsibilities:

Gain familiarity with proprietary internal software and business procedures.

Analyze business requirement documents to formulate thorough testing plans.

Test and ensure that software enhancements and system fixes work flawlessly to meet intended business needs.

Assist and collaborate closely with Product team and Developers to ensure application development is according to the quality assurance standard.

Identify, document, and report software defects and issues.

Contribute ideas and suggestions for process improvements.

Communicate with developers, business analysts, and project managers using JIRA to convey test results and plan next steps.

Review test results to determine/assess impact to overall project plan and implementation schedule.

Follow projects from inception to completion to ensure that identified defects are resolved.

Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in QA.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.

1 years proven experience in software testing and quality assurance.

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Quality Center) is a plus.

Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, and JavaScript is a plus.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
