Job Title: Senior System Verification Engineer

Location: Indianapolis, IN (Onsite)

Job Type: 12-month Contract

Pay Range: $52–$56 per hour (W2)

Shift: Monday to Friday, Regular Business Hours

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior System Verification Engineer to join an innovative engineering team supporting aerospace and defense programs. In this role, you will be responsible for verifying and integrating complex control systems through rigorous testing, system-level thinking, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. This is a hands-on technical role ideal for an experienced engineer who can contribute immediately with minimal training.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead or contribute to the verification and integration of control systems, software, and electronic hardware.

Translate customer requirements into test strategies and verification plans.

Execute verification and validation activities aligned with ARP4754A, DO-178C, and other relevant standards.

Develop and review work products such as requirements, test plans, and technical documentation.

Utilize tools such as DOORS, Cameo, MATLAB/Simulink, Python, and C++ for model-based systems engineering and testing.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems and meet program objectives.

Support audits, reviews, and compliance activities.

Occasional travel (up to 10%) to support program activities.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering with at least 2+ years of relevant experience; or Master’s/PhD in a related field.

Experience with requirements management and systems verification.

Proficiency in Python and C++ programming.

Experience in control systems, systems integration, or test engineering within aerospace, automotive, or similar industries.

U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.

Preferred Qualifications:

5+ years of engineering experience in systems or control systems.

Familiarity with DO-178C, ARP4754A, or military/FAA certification processes.

Experience with DOORS and SysML modeling tools (e.g., Cameo).

Knowledge of model-based systems engineering tools such as MATLAB/Simulink.

Exposure to agile development methodologies.

Systems-level thinking and a proactive, self-starting attitude.
