Construction Estimator
Salary $75,000 - $120,000 Annually
Analyze project plans, specifications, and scope to prepare accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment
Develop and submit competitive bids to secure contracts while ensuring profitability and adherence to deadlines
Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor proposals, ensuring alignment with project requirements
Conduct value engineering to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or design intent
Maintain detailed and organized records of all estimates, bids, and correspondence for internal and client reference
Work closely with project managers, architects, and clients to clarify project details and adjust estimates as needed
Stay informed about industry trends, material costs, and labor rates to ensure estimates reflect current market conditions
Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them during the estimation process
Present and explain estimates to clients, addressing any questions or concerns with professionalism and expertise
Requires jobsite visits at times

Basic Qualifications
5+ Years of Construction Estimating Experience
5+ Years of Commercial Construction Experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients, vendors, and internal teams
Current valid drivers’ license and the ability to operate motor vehicles
Essential Physical & Cognitive Requirements
At times; lifting, pulling, pushing of objects
Ability to individually lift and/or carry 50lbs
Ability to multi-task, read, write, calculate data have reliable & predictable attendance
