Controls Engineer

Job Description

Design, program, and commission industrial control systems across various industries. This role offers a chance to work on innovative projects and integrate emerging technologies into real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and troubleshoot electrical control circuits, ensuring optimal system performance.

Develop and test software for PLCs, HMIs, and other automation platforms.

Lead on-site system commissioning, ensuring smooth installation and operation.

Collaborate with clients to meet all technical specifications and system requirements.

Oversee multiple projects, maintaining timelines and budget targets.

Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring long-term satisfaction and support.

Provide technical service and support to customers as needed.

Maintain up-to-date and accurate project documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

Hands-on experience with PLCs, HMIs, and industrial automation systems.

Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, EPlan, or equivalent.

Solid understanding of NEC, ANSI, and UL electrical standards.

Knowledge of industrial safety circuit design and best practices.

Self-motivated with a strong drive to learn and grow technically.

2+ years of relevant experience preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related field—or equivalent hands-on experience.
