We've been retained to recruit an experienced Director of Supply Chain for an up and coming, hypergrowth semiconductor facility. As the Director, you will lead all planning, logistics, procurement, and supplier management functions. This is a pivotal leadership role for an innovative, forward-thinking professional ready to scale operations during a time of rapid growth.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and lead the site-level supply chain strategy in alignment with global business objectives, ensuring supply chain functions support current operations and are scalable for future growth.
Oversee all aspects of supply chain operations including demand planning, material planning, procurement, logistics, warehousing, and inventory management across the semiconductor manufacturing facility.
Define, implement, and manage KPIs that drive continuous improvement, operational efficiency, cost savings, and service level performance across all functions of the supply chain.
Drive strategic business improvement initiatives by analyzing current processes, identifying areas for optimization, and leading cross-functional teams in executing improvement plans that enhance speed, flexibility, and cost control.
Own site-level P&L for the supply chain function, managing budgets, forecasting inventory spend, and ensuring financial accountability through efficient operations and supplier cost management.
Lead and develop a high-performing supply chain team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration while providing coaching and succession planning.
Support and execute global sourcing strategies by partnering with the corporate procurement team to align on key commodity categories, risk mitigation strategies, and cost management initiatives.
Establish and manage supplier relationships, including negotiation of contracts, performance reviews, risk assessments, and long-term strategic partnerships.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality standards, including proper documentation, traceability, and adherence to semiconductor industry protocols.
Collaborate closely with manufacturing, quality, engineering, and finance teams to ensure supply chain alignment with production schedules, new product introductions (NPI), and customer delivery timelines.
Lead the implementation of digital tools and systems that enhance supply chain visibility, planning accuracy, and real-time decision-making, including ERP optimization. Qualifications
10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain leadership, preferably within semiconductor, electronics, or high-tech manufacturing.
Strong understanding of global supply chain strategy, lean principles, and logistics best practices.
Proven experience managing inventory spend, supplier performance, and multi-site operations.
Demonstrated success in implementing scalable processes during periods of rapid growth.
P&L ownership and financial acumen required.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.
Lean / Six Sigma certification strongly preferred.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus, but not required.
