The PLAN Projects Senior Manager is accountable to lead, manage, and support Planning projects for the EP + Neuro businesses. This position will lead the PMO for the PLAN function on behalf of the team, managing the capital and expense project portfolio, as well provide project leadership and support for key strategic and tactical PLAN projects and initiatives including E2E Variant Management, Key Regulatory Programs, Direct Ship, EP Control Tower, and Supply Planning Systems Projects, including the Blue Yonder Planning System. This role will provide strong leadership to effectively drive strategic approaches from planning through execution, including partnering with the MedTech IBM team, to promote standard processes and build planning capability across the organization. This position will be accountable for leading a team of Planning project associates and will lead, coach, and develop these team members in support of business objectives
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Key Plan Projects and Programs
Lead or Core team member for assigned non-Planning projects, participate and represent Global Planning team for all discussion, from long term planning through to tactical analysis
Lead PMO for EP + Neuro Plan function, including responsibility to ensure Instantis and CLIO are up to date at all times
Provide guidance and support to project teams and business partners
Mentor and develop team in support of business objectives
Present and provide updates to Sr. leadership as needed
Ensure monitoring of progress against all projects within scope is timely and accurate
Ensure risks, issues and dependencies are being documented, monitored and proactively handled to minimize disruption to successful delivery, raise appropriately when needed
Develop a robust organizational change and communication plans to ensure readiness to adapt
Integrate Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals and decision making
Qualifications
Required Skills
BS/BA degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations management, Engineering, or related field.
A minimum 10 years of experience in Planning, Project Management, or related Supply Chain function
Extensive working knowledge of End-to-End Supply Chain is required
Previous experience in demand planning, supply planning, inventory planning, network planning, IBP, business system implementation and cross-functional teamwork is required
High level of personal initiative and ability to function autonomously with a strong sense of urgency, self-confidence, and comfort with new and rapidly changing situations and environments.
Ability to manage multiple complexities and meet cross-functional stakeholder expectations
Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
Work effectively in a cross functional team environment - strong verbal and written communication skills.
Able to work with limited supervision
Preferred Skills
A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred
Blue Yonder, JDE, or SAP, Microsoft Access and/or SQL proficiency experience is preferred
