Nurse Practitioner - GI

Title: Healthcare - Gastroenterology

Location: Northeastern U.S. (Onsite)

Compensation

Pay Range:$135000-$150000/Yr

Description:

• Provide advanced primary and/or specialty care to patients.

• Focus on diagnosis and treatment of digestive tract issues.

• Perform physical exams and record patient medical history.

• Create care plans and administer diagnostic tests.

• Assist physicians with procedures like colonoscopies and endoscopies.

• Communicate with nutritionists for diet assessment and recommendations.

• Manage medication and other traditional nursing tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Examine, diagnose, and treat patients.

• Ensure quality care is provided.

• Collect, record, and maintain accurate patient information.

• Order or execute various tests and diagnostic images.

• Analyze reports and findings to diagnose conditions.

• Administer or prescribe treatments.

• Advise patients on diet, hygiene, and disease prevention.

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in a Nurse Practitioner Program: Family or Adult Geriatrics.

• Current License as a Nurse Practitioner in the Northeastern U.S.

• National Board Certification required.

• Bilingual (Spanish Speaking) is a plus.

• EMR/EHR experience is a plus.
