We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join a global manufacturing leader and drive key process improvement initiatives across its operations. This high-impact role, reporting directly to the Plant Manager, will focus on enhancing efficiency, quality, and productivity-particularly at the Winchester, KY facility.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of manufacturing control strategies to improve plant performance and reduce variability.
Implement Six Sigma, Total Quality Management (TQM), and other continuous improvement methodologies to minimize scrap and increase yield.
Conduct detailed process audits, identify root causes of inefficiencies, and develop comprehensive improvement plans with measurable outcomes.
Manage capital projects from proposal through execution, including budgeting, cost justification, and cross-functional coordination.
Provide hands-on technical support to production and maintenance teams to troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues.
Champion a culture of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing across departments. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 3-5 years of process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
Plastics industry background and injection molding experience are required.
Proven track record in managing capital projects with successful implementation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across multiple teams.
Ability to travel up to 60%, including support for multiple sites.
