About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated RN-Weekend Baylor to join our team at UAB Medical West. As an RN-Weekend Baylor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the comfort and safety of our patients. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. Your primary focus will be on assessing patient needs, administering medications, and monitoring patient progress. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate patient records and communicating with patients and their families regarding their care.
The Registered Nurse provides individualized, goal-directed, patient-centered nursing care. The Registered Nurse assesses patients upon admission; plans, implements, and evaluates patient care; administers medications; and evaluates and documents patient's status and progress. The Registered Nurse also supervises LPNs, Patient Care Techs, and other team members as assigned.

20,000 SIGN-ON BONUS
Minimum Qualifications:
Active RN license in the state of Alabama
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
BLS certification or must obtain within 30 days of hire.
ACLS certification or must obtain within 1 year of hire. Preferred Qualifications:
At least 1 year of experience in acute care nursing
Experience in critical care nursing
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment Responsibilities:

Monitor and report changes in patient conditions
