A precision metals company in the area is looking to add a CNC Programmer that will be responsible in the creation of programs that will generate a part that is compliant to blueprint specifications to support the business in areas of new product development, process improvement and daily production support.

Primary Duties:

Programs CNC machines to effectively and efficiently produce desired product using Mastercam

Ensure effective manufacturing methods are used that are compatible to available machines

Specifies the design and/or procedures, special tooling required to attain product per customers specifications

Based on the customers orders, plan sequences of operations for machining and assembly of product

Participate in the company's corrective action meetings when required

Analyze and resolve machining and tooling issues to avoid problems

Create new and modify existing manufacturing drawings using CAD methodology

Value engineer existing products and processes to reduce costs, lead time and cycle times

Comply with all military contractual requirements

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a technical field is preferred but not required depending on experience.

Strong Cad/Cam knowledge

Experienced in blueprint reading including GD&T

Working knowledge of Mastercam
