iParametrics is seeking a Quality Control Manager professional to join our team for a Department of Defense (DoD) construction project at Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque, NM. This role is responsible for managing the quality control program onsite, ensuring compliance with project specifications, contract documents, and safety standards through all phases of construction.

You'll play a critical leadership role in verifying work quality, managing inspection activities, and protecting project integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure all project-specific work plans and QC documentation are onsite and up-to-date.

Review subcontractor quality plans for compliance with project requirements.

Inspect work for conformance to approved drawings, specifications, and contracts.

Implement and manage the Three-Phase Quality Control System.

Develop daily QC reports, issue detailed meeting minutes, and prepare post-construction documentation.

Track submittals through the Submittal Register and perform technical reviews.

Proactively document deficiencies and non-conformances; verify corrective actions.

Oversee material inspections to confirm compliance with approved submittals.

Coordinate and document 3rd party testing, special inspections, and system commissioning.

Manage the project closeout process and turnover of required documentation.

Mentor and coach less experienced QC staff members.

Foster a positive, safety-first, and inclusive work environment. Required Qualifications:

Graduate degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management

Minimum of 10 years' construction experience required. Minimum of 5 years' experience specifically as a Quality Control Manager.

Airfield Paving Experience Required

Experience with USACE projects and holding Standard USACE Certifications

Must have CQM certification

Key Skills and Competencies:

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Ability to work collaboratively with project teams, subcontractors, and clients.

Strong understanding of construction methods, quality control procedures, and safety standards.

Ability to foster a culture of quality and compliance across project teams.

Certifications:

• USACE Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors Certification required.

• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification preferred.

• Familiarity with EM 385-1-1 Safety and Health requirements
