Class A Truck Driver

Class A CDL Driver – Local $21.50/hr San Antonio, TX

We’re looking for dependable Class A CDL Drivers in San Antonio, TX to handle local truckload deliveries — primarily drop & hook, no-touch freight. You’ll be making multiple trips daily, with occasional runs as far as Waco and Houston.

Schedule:

Monday – Saturday Start Times Vary: 5:00 AM – 8:00 AM

50+ hours/week expected

Home daily

Pay:

$21.50 per hour

Weekly pay

Job Responsibilities:

Pick up and deliver 53’ dry vans or flatbeds (drop & hook, no-touch)

Move pallets to and from customer facilities and plants

Complete delivery paperwork and perform pre/post-trip inspections

Maintain accurate driver logs per DOT regulations

Follow all safety protocols and operate trucks with care

Lift up to 50–75 lbs occasionally as needed

Requirements:

Minimum 23 years old

Valid Class A CDL with at least 1 year of recent experience (within past 3 years)

No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years

Must pass DOT physical and road test

Must have PSP score of 10 or below (scores above 10 require company approval)

Able to work in varying weather and physical conditions

High School Diploma or GED

Must be able to wear required PPE (eye protection, ear protection, safety shoes)

Preferred:

Experience with logistics, warehouse, or over-the-road deliveries

Familiarity with ELDs and commercial driving regulations
