Position Description
Serco is looking for an ambitious and driven Engineering Intern to support our Global Battle and Mission Readiness division in Orlando, Florida for summer 2025. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in systems engineering and integration while contributing to projects that impact national defense.
In this role, you will:
Participate in technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and risk analysis for complex systems.
Support analyses across the full system lifecycle, including concept development, design, testing, installation, and sustainment.
Translate customer requirements into technical hardware and software solutions.
Conduct trade studies, interface definition studies, and functional/timeline analysis.

To be considered for this role, you must:
Be enrolled full-time in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program, and remain enrolled full-time through Fall 2025.
Be pursuing a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) degree.
Be available to work full-time (40 hours/week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2025.
Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A demonstrated interest in engineering problem-solving and systems thinking.
The ability to learn quickly and work effectively in collaborative environments.
Additional desired experience and skills:
A cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
