Phlebotomist/Lab Assistant - PRN

Purcell Municipal Hospital is in need of a FT Phlebotomist/Lab Assistant to work days, Monday through Friday, 7:30am-5:30pm in the Laboratory Department.

May require some holidays.rnUnder the general supervision of the Laboratory Manager, the phlebotomist must:rnrndemonstrate competence in phlebotomy skillsrnunderstand and perform specimen collection procedures for all age groupsrnefficiently perform basic clerical and customer service duties with initiative, kindness, and professionalismrnhave full range of body motion including handling and assisting patients, manual and finger dexterity, eye/hand coordination, and hearing acuityrnrnREQUIREMENTS:rnrnMinimum High School/GEDrnRelated experience inclusive of on the job or classroom training in phlebotomy.rnBasic office skills, including PC, keyboarding, and office equipmentrnMedical Terminologyrnrn rnPhlebotomy certification and minimum of 6 months phlebotomy work experience is required for PRN position.
