Job Description
We are seeking a System Admin to join our Identity and Data Management Team. This is a full-time position and hybrid in Concord, NH. The main focus of this role is to support DOIT's print management solutions and secure data access for users, ensuring smooth network print administration across the organization.
What You'll Do:
Manage print servers and configure printer queues to ensure proper user permissions
Safely decommission printers from networks, removing user access and handling associated data appropriately
Address issues related to network connectivity, printer malfunctions, and user problems using network protocols like DNS and DHCP
Monitor and analyze Help Desk requests, providing initial triage and evaluation, and escalating as necessary
Create and manage DHCP reservation records utilizing Microsoft DHCP Server
Administer secure user access to AD and Azure secured shared resources, ensuring compliance with HIPAA, CJIS, PCI, FTI, FERPA, etc.
Develop and maintain documentation related to MCS processes, procedures, and standards
Collaborate with technicians from other DoIT divisions to provide support and solutions
What You'll Need:
Experience with SMB network scanning, including Windows File Server management and folder/share security
Proficiency in Network Printing Administration, including deployments, removals, scanning, and troubleshooting
Experience with Windows Active Directory Identity Administration and Azure Active Directory Identity Administration
Experience using PowerShell/Graph scripts for efficiency and optimization
Familiarity with file recovery using Volume Shadow Services and current file backup software
Ability to provide user guidance for self-service of cloud file and email recovery
Physical Demands:
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
