Automation Engineer/LRE Tools Engineer

Title: Senior Automation Engineer Location: Remote Duration: On-going contract Compensation: $9000-10,000k monthly including holiday/vacation Work Requirements: US Citizenship required for this role, will include Public Trust Clearance Location: Remote Eastern, Central and Mountain time zones.

US Citizenship is Required - Ability to pass enhanced background screen (criminal, financial, drug) for Public Trust clearance.

Description: Tools team member to support multiple tools within account working as a ‘Subject Matter Expert’ (SME). The position requires the ability to manage and troubleshoot as well as plan and implement releases/patches/upgrades.

The tool SME updates documentation, manages (create/update/close/resolve) change/incident tickets.

SME follows ITSM processes for tasks to complete installs and validations.

Tools include.

OpenText Loadrunner Enterprise.

Splunk UF (agents only). IBM License Metric Tool.

Installation of other agents utilizing automation jobs.

Qualifications/Responsibilities: Skills needed to support the role include: Attention to detail.

System administration experience for Windows, Solaris and RHEL OS Scripting (.bat and .sh) Knowledge of perl a plus Strong investigation and troubleshooting skills Must be a self-starter and work with limited direction Professional communication skills both written and verbal Experience with automation tools and updating/creating/running jobs Knowledge of OpenText, Splunk and IBM tools a plus AWS Certification and knowledge of tools a plus College degree or 5-10 years of technical experience Proficient with MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint Must be a U.S.
