Move Forward with Volt Volt is immediately hiring for Accounting/Finance - Biller/Collector I in Baldwin Park, CA(Remote local). As an Accounting/Finance - Biller/Collector I, you will: Collects and recovers the payment from patients and insurance companies for delinquent hospital/medical patient accounts.

Initiates outbound calls that potentially lead to successful payment or timely arrangement to satisfy delinquent accounts.

Talks with payers, such as commercial insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid, to resolve problems and gather additional information needed to collect debt.

Works with customers to find and arrange collection solutions.

Ensures billing is complete and accurate.

This is a full-time contract opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have: 3 years experience in hospital collections.

Experience with CA hospital billing and compliances.

Experience with EPIC and payer portals.

Experience in Excel/Office.

Knowledge of payer contractors, writing appears, and medical terminology.

HS diploma or equivalent.

Pay Rate: $18 - $20 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
