We are searching for a Network Engineer.
The candidate will be supporting FAA's Enroute and Oceanic Support Services (EOSS) contract and primarily focused on implementing and supporting enterprise Cisco networks including the design, configuration, and installation of network hardware. The candidate will troubleshoot and repair network connectivity anomalies with router and switch configurations. They must have a clear understanding of VLANS, trunking, routing and switching protocols, and NATing. A clear understanding of network security utilizing Firepower IDS and IPS will be necessary as well as familiarity with Cisco Hyperflex system.
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for a Position of Public Trust.

Schedule is full-time, 5 days per week, reporting to the William J. Hughes Technical Center in Egg Harbor Twp., NJ.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or another type of Technical degree and 20 years of experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Network concepts and protocols knowledge a must
Experience installing, configuring and supporting IPS/IDS to ensure network security
Experience in configuring, monitoring and troubleshooting Cisco switches, routers, communications and connectivity
Experience with network hardware and infrastructure
Good communication skills
