Suspension of Drexel University's Contribution into 403(b) Retirement Plan As communicated on Oct.
10, Drexel University is suspending its contributions to employee retirement plans for calendar year 2025 as part of its multi-year plan to build financial resilience.
Drexel is continuing to monitor the situation and will share updates as they become available for calendar year 2026.
The successful admissions counselor exhibits superior customer service skills and professionalism throughout daily interactions and communications with students including interviews, phone calls, emails and information sessions.
The admission counselor must demonstrate an ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with team members, faculty, students, administrators and staff.
A flexible work schedule that will include days and maybe a few hours on a Saturday required.
Essential Functions * Excellent people skills.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Good organizational and telephone skills.
* Open and distribute mail.
* Individual required to maintain high degree of confidentiality.
* Counselors will be required to conduct telephone interviews and provide written evaluations of applicant.
* Counselors will read and review applications, calculate GPA and provide written summaries to be presented to the Admissions Committee.
* Counselors must be willing to offer in house tours to applicants as they arise.
* Counselors may be asked to attend open houses, conduct information sessions or be available to Zoom to answer questions and discuss the programs with applicants for recruiting purposes.
* Ability to work on a registration deadline, strive toward college wide enrollment goals and use outstanding customer service to recruit students to the College's Programs.
* Utilize phone, email and mail to communicate with prospective students in a timely manner, providing superior student service.
* Work with prospective students to garner completed applications prior to deadlines.
* Ability to work independently, and to arrange information sessions, set appointments and promote the College in a positive manner.
* Ability to follow directions and complete tasks accurately as well as accept.
Required Qualifications * Minimum of Bachelor's Degree.
* Minimum of 1 year of experience.
* Must be able to demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Well-developed presentation skills are required.
* Goal oriented and intrinsically motivated with superior customer service and networking skills.
* Ability to build relationships with students and determine the correct program fit for students' career and personal goals and follow them through the enrollment process.
* Professional attire and personal presentation required daily.

The offered pay is based on the successful candidate's qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
