Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to oversee payroll operations for a multi-state workforce in Canal Winchester, Ohio.

In this Contract-to-ongoing position, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring timely and accurate employee compensation while maintaining compliance with payroll regulations.

This role demands a high level of confidentiality, expertise in payroll systems, and a commitment to providing excellent service to employees.

Responsibilities: - Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll cycles for several hundred employees across multiple states, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

- Reconcile payroll data with financial accounting systems, including U.S.

and Mexico payroll reports.

- Handle garnishments, applying pay guidelines as per contractual and procedural requirements.

- Address employee inquiries related to payroll and timekeeping, providing clear explanations and support.

- Manage payroll tax filings and activities at local, state, and federal levels, including annual documentation such as W-2s and Form 5500.

- Generate system-related payroll reports to support financial planning and analysis efforts.

- Ensure accurate reporting and adjustments for paid time off in compliance with company policies.

- Calculate and remit employee benefits and deductions, including health insurance, 401(k) contributions, and garnishments.

- Collaborate with HR to record and reconcile employee changes such as new hires, terminations, promotions, and leaves of absence.

- Conduct audits and identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes for greater efficiency.

Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll administration, preferably in a multi-site manufacturing environment.

- Proficiency in payroll software systems; prior experience with Paylocity is highly preferred.

- Strong knowledge of payroll tax reporting and compliance requirements, including multi-state payroll.

- Expertise in handling garnishments and understanding related laws.

- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for payroll data analysis and reporting.

- Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality.

- Associates degree in Accounting or Business is a plus; Certified Payroll certification is preferred.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills paired with a customer-service-oriented approach.
