Planner Scheduler JOB OVERVIEW JOB TITLE PLANNER SCHEDULER LOCATION PRODUCTION CONTROL REPORTS TO PRODUCTION CONTROL MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION In this role, we are looking for a detail-oriented Planner Scheduler that will be responsible for the development, coordination, and maintenance of production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products, optimal resource utilization, that meets our customer's demand.

You will collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to drive efficient and cost-effective production operations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES * Review the production needs daily, create schedules, monitor output.

* Create weekly plans, examine efficiency, adjust schedules as necessary for changes, manage inventory.

* Attend and participate in production meetings.

* Develop monthly forecast, manage inventory levels.

Manage work in progress (WIP) inventory levels.

* Assist in the development of tracking key performance indicators (KPIs). * Review monthly invoicing data to know actual demand and identify/resolve discrepancies.

* Coordinate material availability and manage all aspects of planning to ensure on-time production.

* Collaborate closely with the procurement and warehouse teams to ensure the timely delivery of raw materials and components.

* Collaborate with Quality Assurance for any production quality issues.

* Monitor production progress and proactively adjust schedules as necessary to overcome delays, equipment failures, or customer needs.

* Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify areas for opportunities and implement impactful solutions.

* Foster clear communication effectively across functional teams, including production, quality assurance, sales and engineering.

* Manage and maintain accurate production records and documentation in ERP/MRP systems.

* Play key role in supporting continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.

* Use your forecasting skills to accurately project labor and equipment requirements based on anticipated workload and capacity.

EDUCATION & TRAINING * Bachelor's degree in Supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience in supply chain, operations, logistics or similar field will also be considered). KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE * Possess 3-5 years of hands-on experience in production planning, scheduling, and inventory control in a manufacturing environment.

SKILLS & ABILITIES * Possess strong organizational and time-management skills with a sharp attention to detail.

* Understanding manufacturing processes and efficiency.

* Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and make effective decisions in high pressure situations.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

* Lean manufacturing experience is a plus.

* Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems * Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
