Summary\n Bud's Goods of NJ is seeking a motivated and personable Sales Account Executive to drive wholesale cannabis sales across Massachusetts.
This role focuses on acquiring new retail accounts, building strong relationships with dispensaries, and increasing the visibility of Bud's branded pre-roll products-such as party packs, lil jays, and future SKUs.
The ideal candidate is passionate about cannabis, eager to hit goals, and thrives in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.\n\n Job Duties\n\nIdentify, contact, and convert new retail partners to carry Bud's products.\nServe as the day-to-day contact for dispensaries and build long-term relationships.\nDeliver compelling product knowledge and educate clients on Bud's offerings and differentiators.\nConduct in-person or virtual product demos, presentations, and sampling events.\nProcess purchase orders, track delivery timelines, and ensure customer satisfaction post-sale.\nOrganize travel and outreach within a defined sales territory to maximize efficiency.\nMaintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline updates, and client interactions using CRM tools.\nReport on competitive products, pricing trends, and customer preferences.\nEnsure all activities adhere to Massachusetts cannabis regulations and Bud's internal SOPs.\nRepresent Bud's at trade shows, pop-ups, and industry events to promote brand awareness.\n\n \n Core Competencies:\n\nAbility to create trust based, long term partnerships with real clients and dispensary buyers\nConfident and clear in explaining product value, handling objectives and closing sales\nDeep understanding of cannabis products, consumer trends, and regulatory compliance in Massachusetts\nStrong commitment to understanding client needs and delivering exceptional service and support\nEfficiently plan routes, meetings, and follow ups to maximize coverage and productivity\nSelf-motivate with a hunter mentality - persist in outreach, unshaken by rejection and hungry to exceed goals\nKeeps accurate sales records, leverages CRM tools and tracks performance metrics to drive results\nComfort navigating a fast-changing industry with evolving products, regulations and market demands\nWorks well with internal teams (marketing, operations, compliance) to deliver seamless customer experiences\nActs with integrity and understands the importance of working within the strict legal framework of cannabis sales \n\n\n Experience and Education \n\n2-4 years of sales experience, preferably in cannabis, CPG, or a regulated industry\nTrack record of meeting or exceeding sales goals\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills\nValid driver's license and reliable transportation\nAbility to work independently in a field-based role\nFamiliarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and Microsoft Office\n\n Preferred:\n\nExperience in cannabis wholesale sales\nKnowledge of Massachusetts cannabis compliance regulations\nStrong passion for cannabis and understanding of current market trends\n\n\n Additional Requirements\n\n\nMust pass all required background checks\nMust have a reliable vehicle\nMust be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry\nMust be able to lift 30lbs as needed\nMust possess valid driver's license and Travel more than 50% of time \nMust be a minimum of 21 years of age\nMust be approved by state badging agency to work in cannabis industry\n\n #ENGHP\n Salary$65000 - $80000 USD per year
