Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Nutraceutical Manufacturing Technician with a strong background in chemistry and biochemistry to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in the formulation, production, and quality assurance of high-quality nutraceutical products. This position requires a thorough understanding of chemical processes, analytical techniques, and regulatory compliance in the nutraceutical industry.

Key Responsibilities

· Operate and maintain advanced manufacturing equipment to produce sterile products.

· Formulate and assist in the development of new sterile products based on scientific principles and market needs.

· Conduct quality control tests and analytical procedures to ensure product efficacy and safety, including potency and purity assessments.

· Document all manufacturing processes and outcomes meticulously, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory standards.

· Collaborate with R&D and quality assurance teams to troubleshoot formulations, conduct stability studies, and assess product shelf life.

· Maintain accurate inventory of raw materials and finished products; assist in supply chain management as necessary.

· Participate in training and continuous education programs to stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements.

· Ensure compliance with safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized workspace to prevent contamination.

· Support the implementation of quality assurance measures and continuous improvement initiatives within the production environment.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s or Doctorate degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field; additional certifications in manufacturing or quality assurance are a plus.

· Previous experience in a manufacturing or laboratory setting, ideally in the nutraceutical or food sectors.

· Strong understanding of chemical processes, laboratory techniques, and regulatory compliance (e.g., FDA, NSF, cGMP, USP 797, Sterile Transfer Technique).

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

· Proficiency in using laboratory and manufacturing equipment as well as data analysis software.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively document processes and collaborate with team members.
