Join a fast-growing team in the booming residential construction market! We’re hiring a detail-driven Field Dispatcher to keep our field crews running smoothly across the country.
We are a growing company serving residential new home markets across the country. Our work focuses on delivering high-quality field services with efficiency, consistency, and professionalism. We are seeking a motivated Field Dispatcher to join our team and support our field operations through scheduling, coordination, and communication.
As a Field Dispatcher, you will be responsible for the daily scheduling and coordination of field technicians across multiple markets. You will serve as the communication hub between our internal teams, field staff, and clients to ensure work is completed on time. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, a skilled communicator, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy fast-paced environments, solving scheduling puzzles, and being the communication hub that keeps everything on track.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and characteristics:
Ability to operate and manage a multi-line telephone system
Coordinate schedule in the most effective manner
Must be detail oriented
Strong organizational skills
Excellent personal, communication and customer service skills
Self-motivated, self-directed
Ability to work well under pressure in fast paced situations
Ability to handle difficult situations calmly, especially during customer complaints
Ability to work independently or as a team member
Proficient with Excel and Word
Maintain and update call records, jobs and other important documentation
Some knowledge of general construction, preferred
Prior field scheduling experience desired
General Math Skills

Tacoma Energy has years’ of experience in the field of Energy Auditing, Training, Testing, Managing, Manual J,D, and S calculations for Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning, Energy modeling through Performance and Building Code Support. Today we have locations in multiple cities and continue to expand.
