A-Line Staffing is now hiring Material Handlers in Zelienople, PA

The Material Handler would be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. This would be full-time / 40+ hours per week.

Material Handler Compensation

The pay for this position is $16.00 per hour

Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment

A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Material Handler Highlights

This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

The required availability for this position is Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm (Great work hours!)

Material Handler Responsibilities

Perform activities related to receiving, shipping, moving, manufacturing, and controlling raw materials, products, recyclable materials, and waste

Operate equipment or machinery as necessary

Prioritize tasks based on customer needs in a team environment

Maintain accurate records and documentation, including inventory tracking

Ensure inventory record accuracy to support the manufacturing facility

Perform all storeroom functions and maintain inventory control

Support quality systems and continuous improvement initiatives

Other duties as assigned

Material Handler Requirements

High School Diploma or GED

Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Basic knowledge of data collection devices

Understanding of transactional data within an MRP system related to inventory movement

Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

Preferred Qualifications

Adequate math skills and ability to use measuring tools

Familiarity with hand tools and facility equipment

Ability to pass training/licensing for regulatory programs if required

Ability to develop new skills quickly

High motivation and strong teamwork attitude

Ability to interpret specifications and procedures

Physical Demands:

Must be able to sit, bend, stoop, use a keyboard, walk, and stand on concrete for extended periods

May occasionally lift up to 25 lbs
