Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role is essential to maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse operation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for organizing and maintaining inventory, receiving and processing materials, accurately inputting data into our company software, and occasionally placing orders to ensure stock levels are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive incoming materials and verify accuracy against packing slips or purchase orders, and input into our software system
Organize and store materials in designated locations to ensure inventory is easily accessible and accurately tracked
Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
Accurately input inventory data into the company’s software system
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
Assist with preparing outgoing job material as needed
Occasionally place orders for materials or supplies based on inventory levels or requests from other departments
Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth warehouse operations
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous warehouse or inventory management experience preferred
Comfortable using computers and inventory management software
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to lift to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Good organizational and communication skills
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
