Position Description

Day Machine Systems is looking for a hard working individual to program Milling manufacturing operations and assist with setups.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Programming Multi axis Milling operations utilizing Mastercam.

Assist operators with setups as well as reviewing setups prior to production runs.

Review required inspection equipment at work centers prior to operation.

Operate small run complex jobs (I.E. 1-50 pcs).

Reviewing blueprints to ensure proper dimensions on finished parts.

Fabricate setup sheets/tool sheets.

Design/Fabricate fixtures when applicable.

Troubleshooting CNC malfunctions.

Monitor floor production and assist operators.

Train new operators.

This job opportunity is in a management position, where you will be required to assist in the oversight of production/inspection.

Day Machine Systems currently utilizes Solidworks, Mastercam. Proficiency of these programs is required.

Requirements

Must have a High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.

Proficient in FAI

10 years experience programming

5 years experience setting up/operating CNC equipment

Proficient in Solidworks and Mastercam

Experience machining high temp alloys (Nickel based alloys, Cobalt based alloys, titanium, etc.)Company Description
