About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Pricing Analyst to join our Finance team and support strategic decision-making across the organization. This role is responsible for developing cost estimates, analyzing pricing performance, maintaining models, and collaborating cross-functionally to align pricing strategy with market conditions and margin objectives.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and financial modeling skills with a collaborative mindset and a passion for continuous improvement. This role will work closely with Sales, Product Management, Finance, and Operations to ensure our pricing reflects the value we deliver - while supporting our sustainability leadership and long-term customer partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Cost Estimation & Quoting
Prepare detailed cost estimates by evaluating materials, labor hours, machine time, subcontracted services, and overhead.
Develop price quotes based on estimated costs, target margins, and market conditions.
Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Production teams to validate cost inputs and product feasibility.
Maintain and update cost databases, quote records, and pricing templates.
Pricing Execution & Strategy
Develop and maintain pricing models to support profitability and competitiveness.
Monitor standard costs and assess manufacturing cost changes or trends that may impact pricing.
Lead implementation of mass price changes and increases due to material cost changes, coordinate communication and documentation with Sales and Management.
Work cross-functionally with Customer Experience to resolve pricing discrepancies and uphold pricing integrity.
Performance Analysis & Optimization
Analyze pricing performance and provide recommendations for margin improvement.
Identify cost reduction opportunities and pricing adjustments through ongoing analysis.
Support strategic pricing initiatives and special projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field.
2+ years of experience in finance, pricing, or analytical roles; manufacturing experience preferred.
Understanding standard costing methods and financial analysis principles.
Preferred:
Advanced Excel proficiency (formulas, modeling, data manipulation).
Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of basic financial analysis, costing structures, and pricing strategies.
Ability to effectively collaborate across departments including Sales, Operations, and Engineering.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
Experience using Oracle, Salesforce.com, Microsoft Office, and reporting tools such as Orbit.
