Overview
Under the supervision of the Director of Compliance, the incumbent is responsible for the daily administration of Title 31 reports and processes under the Bank Secrecy Act and assists with the development of compliance programs, including review and revision of Company policies, procedures and internal controls. The Compliance Manager must establish one-self as a highly credible leader with highest levels of integrity, acting in the best interest of the Company.
Responsibilities
Ensures compliance with Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering related laws and regulations and identifies matters of non-compliance and escalates them to the BSA Compliance Officer as necessary for resolution.
Ensures the accurate and timely filing of all CTR’s.
Ensures potentially unusual or suspicious transactions are appropriately identified, documented, and Suspicious Activity Reports are correctly completed and filed in accordance with casino policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Investigate possible violations of internal procedures/controls.
Daily administration of the automated systems designed to record cash transactions.
All exceptions to the logging and or reporting process to be brought to the attention of appropriate casino personnel.
Utilizes a variety of analytical techniques and computer systems to make informed decisions concerning customer account status.
Compiles evidence and documentation in compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering regulatory requirements.
Maintains a current thorough understanding of money laundering and terrorist financing issues, including policies, procedures, regulations, industry best practices, criminal activities, and developing trends.
Develops and maintains partnerships with user departments to facilitate investigations.
Maintains confidential information.
Assists in creating and editing Internal Control submissions in accordance with New Jersey regulations.
Assists in creating and editing policies and procedures of the Company’s various departments.
Prepare quarterly and other reports.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
College Degree required.
Minimum of 5 years banking, compliance or audit experience in Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering and knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering requirements.
Casino experience required, with prior supervisory experience.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, especially Excel.
Possess above average verbal and written communication skills.
Must be highly organized.
Ability to work under pressure and possesses strong time management skills. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both in spoken and written form.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other team members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
