Job Summary
As a QA Technician in our Non-Durable Goods Manufacturing company located in Memphis, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products. You will be responsible for conducting tests and inspections on raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products to ensure they meet our high standards. Your attention to detail and ability to identify defects will be essential in maintaining our reputation for excellence. You will work closely with our production team to identify and resolve any quality issues, and you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all testing and inspection results.
Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct tests and inspections on raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products to ensure they meet our high standards
Identify defects and work with the production team to resolve any quality issues
Maintain accurate records of all testing and inspection results
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
Continuously improve our quality control processes
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
1+ years of experience in quality assurance or a related field
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field
Experience with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience with statistical process control
Certification in quality assurance or a related field
Skills:
As a QA Technician, you will use your attention to detail and analytical skills to identify defects and ensure the quality of our products. You will also use your communication and interpersonal skills to work closely with the production team to resolve any quality issues. Your ability to maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulations and standards will be essential in maintaining our reputation for excellence.
