Location: 2800 North Gordon Street, Alvin, TX 77511

Pay Rate: $55,000 - $70,000 (depending on experience)

Job Type: Full-time, Non-Exempt (Salary)

Position Overview

The HR Generalist will be responsible for supporting day-to-day human resources operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and benefits administration. This role plays a key part in maintaining a positive workplace culture and ensuring HR practices align with company policies and legal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Support full-cycle recruitment efforts including posting jobs, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews.

Conduct new hire orientations and support onboarding process.

Administer employee benefits and serve as a liaison with benefit providers.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HRIS data.

Assist with performance appraisal processes.

Provide guidance on company policies and procedures.

Handle employee relations issues with professionalism and confidentiality.

Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.

Assist with employee events, communications, and recognition programs.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Schedule & Overtime:

Full-time, non-exempt salary position

Standard work hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm

Qualifications & Skills:

1+ years of HR generalist or related experience.

Working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR software systems (e.g., Paylocity a plus).

401(k) Plan:

Eligible after 1 year of service (must be 21 or older).

Employer matches 100% of deferrals up to 3% of compensation.

Employer matches 50% of deferrals on 3% to 5% of compensation.
