Job Summary:
We are seeking a Front Desk Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our front desk area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of front desk staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a smooth check-in and check-out process for guests.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality or related field is a plus
- Proven experience in a front desk or customer service role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proficiency in hotel management software and MS Office
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Ability to handle difficult situations with diplomacy and professionalism
Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, and motivate front desk staff
- Ensure efficient operation of the front desk, including check-in, check-out, and guest inquiries
- Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to any issues
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth guest transitions
- Handle guest complaints and resolve conflicts in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports as needed
- Assist with scheduling and payroll for front desk staff
- Stay updated on hotel policies and procedures to ensure compliance
