Clair Global Products, is seeking a self-driven Software Automation Test Engineer to join our dynamic development team. As a Software Automation Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Working closely with our development team, you will design, automate, and execute tests, leveraging your expertise in automation tools and frameworks. Your insights and feedback will be instrumental in enhancing the overall quality and user experience of our products.

QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the essential functions of this job while exercising independent judgment and discretion.

Extensive experience (5+ years) in software development or software quality assurance, focusing on test automation

Profound knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools, with a specialization in test automation frameworks

Hands-on experience with agile methodologies, working effectively in cross-functional teams

Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, crucial for working closely with diverse teams

Advanced problem-solving and analytical abilities, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail in automated testing

Proven track record in developing and implementing automated tests specifically for desktop applications

Delighters:

ISTQB Certification

CCNA Certification

Experience with Milan protocol

Experience testing 3D Modeling software or networked device control software

Experience with audio production software and hardware

Professional audio experience, live performance experience, or musician experience

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Collaborate with the development team to analyze software requirements and formulate comprehensive test strategies and plans.

Implement automated functional testing, performance testing, compatibility testing, and regression testing to detect software defects and uphold high-quality standards.

Partner closely with audio engineers to validate software against professional audio industry benchmarks and ensure optimal user experience.

Document automated test results, meticulously track issues, and maintain effective communication with the development team to expedite bug resolutions and enhancements.

Stay abreast of emerging audio technologies, industry standards, and best practices to continually enhance the quality assurance process
