Position Summary
Concordia University seeks qualified applicants for the part-time position of Adjunct Faculty to teach Physics Laboratory in the Physical Sciences Department of the School of Arts & Sciences on the Mequon, Wisconsin campus. Applicants must be qualified to teach undergraduate physics, both calculus and non-calculus based.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Teach Physics laboratory courses.
Update teaching materials, such as lab handouts, as needed.
Grade lab reports and submit grades in Canvas.
Provide a quality learning experience for students each semester.
Collaborate effectively with the instructor(s) who is/are teaching lecture sections for the same students.
Report to the department chair.
Perform instruction-related duties and responsibilities in a timely manner and in accordance with the mission, policies, and procedures of the university.
Perform all other duties as assigned
Education and Qualifications
A master's degree in a related field is required, doctorate preferred. Candidates must possess effective teaching skills. Teaching experience at the high school or undergraduate level is beneficial.
