Our Client a Fortune 150 Company is looking for a Sr Azure Systems Engineer in Miami, FL.

The Senior Systems Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of the organization's IT infrastructure. This position focuses on eliminating system obsolescence, enhancing cyber hardening, addressing vulnerability remediation, and leading the migration to cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS). The Senior Systems Engineer is also responsible for multi-cloud automation, ensuring seamless integration and optimization across cloud platforms. The role involves advanced technical leadership, hands-on management of systems, and collaboration with IT teams to drive strategic initiatives that align with the organization's goals. This role is essential for driving the modernization, security, and efficiency of the organization's IT infrastructure.

Skills Requirements:

Cloud Platforms: Proficiency in Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services, with hands-on experience in cloud migration, deployment, and management.

Operating Systems: Expertise in Windows Server Operating Systems and Linux, with a strong understanding of their integration into cloud environments.

Networking: In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, including VLANs, DNS, and DHCP, as they relate to cloud and on-premises systems.

Cybersecurity: Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, including vulnerability remediation, cyber hardening, and compliance with data privacy laws.

Automation and Scripting: Experience with automation tools and scripting languages such as PowerShell, with a focus on multi-cloud environments.

Performance Monitoring: Familiarity with performance monitoring tools and techniques, ensuring the optimal operation of IT systems.

Extensive experience in systems engineering, with a focus on cloud migration, cyber hardening, and multi-cloud automation.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, and 5+ years of equivalent work experience.

Certifications: Professional certifications such as Microsoft MCSE, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or equivalent are preferred.
