PM Mechanic Stay-On Bonus

Waste Masters has an opening for a safety-conscious Preventative Maintenance Mechanic to join our GROWING team at our site in New Castle, DE.

5,000 STAY-ON BONUS

This role is crucial in keeping our fleet running efficiently and safely by performing scheduled maintenance and inspections on our vehicles and equipment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Perform routine maintenance and inspections on trucks and equipment

· Conduct oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, and lubrication

· Inspect brakes, fluid levels, belts, hoses, and other key components

· Identify potential issues and report necessary repairs to the lead mechanic

· Maintain accurate service records and reports

· Keep work areas clean and organized in compliance with safety regulations

· Assist with minor repairs and support the mechanic team as needed

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· Basic knowledge of automotive/diesel maintenance and repair

· Experience with preventative maintenance procedures

· Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in various weather conditions

· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

· Basic knowledge of tools, equipment, and safety procedures

· Hydraulic experience is a plus

· Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus but not required)
