Job Summary:

As a Service Advisor at a Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealership, you will be the primary liaison between our customers and the service department. You are responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience, accurately identifying vehicle service needs, and coordinating service work with technicians to ensure timely and efficient repairs. Your role is critical to building long-term relationships with customers and contributing to the dealership’s success.Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers promptly and professionally, delivering a positive first impression.

Conduct vehicle walkarounds and gather detailed customer concerns regarding service or repairs.

Clearly explain vehicle service recommendations and repair processes to customers.

Create repair orders and estimates using CDJR-approved software systems.

Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and accurate diagnosis and service.

Maintain clear and consistent communication with customers throughout the service process.

Upsell maintenance services and repairs where appropriate, in alignment with manufacturer guidelines.

Ensure all warranty, recall, and manufacturer service bulletins are checked and applied.

Close repair orders, process payments, and ensure all customer questions are addressed post-service.

Follow up with customers post-visit to ensure satisfaction and build repeat business.Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical training preferred.

2+ years of experience in a service advisor or automotive service role (CDJR or other OEM experience preferred).

Strong knowledge of automotive systems, repair procedures, and CDJR vehicle lineup.

Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with dealership management systems (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar).

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.Key Competencies:
