Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

VerusRx is seeking a creative and detail-oriented UX/UI Designer to help craft intuitive, user-friendly digital experiences for our healthcare technology platform. As an entry-level designer, you will support the design and development of web and mobile interfaces by transforming user needs and business goals into clean, accessible, and visually compelling solutions. Working closely with product managers, developers, and senior designers, you will contribute to wireframes, prototypes, and final designs while gaining hands-on experience in user-centered design within a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Continuously refine design concepts based on usability testing, A/B test insights, customer feedback, and usage analytics to deliver optimized user experiences.

Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, including product management, marketing, and development teams, to define and visualize future-forward customer experiences.

Design intuitive and seamless experiences tailored across mobile, tablet, and desktop platforms, ensuring responsive and accessible designs.

Assist in creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile platforms

Support usability testing efforts and incorporate user feedback into design improvements

Assist the business in executing impactful website campaigns, ensuring design consistency, hyper personalization and optimal user engagement.

Lead user experience improvement projects aimed at increasing conversion rates, streamlining user journeys, and reducing friction points.

Contribute to the development and maintenance of our design system and UI standards

Participate in design reviews and provide thoughtful feedback to team members

Help ensure designs are accessible, responsive, and aligned with industry best practices

Stay up to date with design trends, tools, and technologies

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Strong portfolio showcasing UX and UI projects, even if academic or personal work

Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar

Basic understanding of user-centered design principles and responsive design

Excellent attention to detail and strong visual design skills

Ability to take direction, absorb feedback, and iterate quickly

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Familiarity with front-end development (HTML/CSS) is a plus but not required

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The role primarily operates in an in-door, climate-controlled office setting working in close proximity to others. Noise level in the work environment is low to moderate. Light level provides adequate brightness for reading, computer work, and other tasks without causing glare or strain.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The job primarily involves sedentary work with prolonged periods sitting at a desk. While performing the duties of this job, employees may occasionally be expected to:
