Production Operator

Job Summary: Manage and operate the equipment of the inedible egg drying process. This will include loading/unloading tankers, operating the dryer and packaging equipment as well as other required equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Will be responsible for product quality and the completion of production records as required.

Duties & Responsibilities

Strictly adheres to all safety and security policies and procedures and ensures a safe and clean work environment.

Assures that established policy, procedures and work rules are followed.

Operate the tanker unloading / loading, UF/RO processing, drying and packaging equipment

Ensure equipment is operating correctly to ensure a high-quality product.

Completion of all testing and documentation for quality parameters

Completion of required operation reports, quality records, log tracking and other required paperwork.

Participates in continuous improvement activities and training sessions

Ensure preventative and routine maintenance is completed and done in the most cost effective manner.

All other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Must be mechanically inclined and have ability to perform general maintenance as required.

Ability to read, understand and effectively communicate information through writing and speaking so others will understand.

Attention to detail.

Independent Self-Starter/Team Player.

Mathematical Skills: General Arithmetic/Basic Algebra/Percentages/Fractions.

Able to frequently push, pull, lift and climb stairs.

Able to work in all environmental conditions.

Able to lift up to 100 lbs. and repeatedly lift 55 lb. bags on a regular/constant basis.

Mechanical and equipment repair skills (preferred).

Sanitation experience: CIP, pumps (preferred).
