System Project Engineer

Typical Responsibilities: Support system architecture and design of systems that may include satellite hardware, rocket hardware, robotics, power and test equipment Perform system sizing Lead the project and interface with customers and suppliers Responsible for meeting program technical schedule and cost objectives Lead an interdisciplinary team to successfully develop new products Assemble and test both deliverable hardware and test equipment Create system math models and analyze test data Machine and rework parts Participate in resource planning and project performance evaluation Operate as a key element in a team of creative, independent individuals Document work and create reports as needed Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Excellent verbal, written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a team environment United States Citizenship, or the legal ability to work in the U.S.

Note: We regularly work with export-controlled data and are unable to provide sponsorship 5 years’ experience (or 3 years with an MS degree) Preferred Qualifications: Direct experience with Aerospace/Defense/Military industry and standards Deep understanding of architecture and trades of satellite hardware Modest design capability in at least one discipline (electrical, software, firmware, or mechanical) Apech Labs is a small business that supports the aerospace, military and energy industries through rapid prototyping and product development.
