Salary: $18.50-$23.10

PART-TIME SUBSTITUTE BUS DRIVER

GLOW Academy in Wilmington is seeking experienced bus driver substitutes with their CDL and S and P endorsements for the 2024-2025 school year. GLOW is an all-girls Public Charter School serving grades 6-12.

Position Details:

Reports To: Transportation Coordinator

Compensation: Based off of FY 2024-25 NHC Bus Hourly Pay Schedule

Current Pay Schedule Range: $18.50 - $23.10 per hour

Duties and Expectations:

Transport children to and from school in the mornings and afternoons on an as needed basis.

Verify permissions for children who ride home with friends.

Maintain a clean and mechanically-sound bus at all times.

Obey all traffic laws.

Perform inspections of the bus before and after each route.

Ensure safety of all students.

Assist students with getting on and off the bus when required.

CPR a plus!

Requirements:

CDL - Class B with Passenger and School Endorsements

Background Check

Pre-Employment Drug Screen

Schedule:

Morning: Approximately 6:30am - 9:00am

Afternoon: Approximately 3:30pm - 5:00pm
