The AI/ML Team is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to support the strategy and enterprise coordination for AI/ML initiatives. This role involves designing and optimizing machine learning systems, selecting appropriate datasets, and ensuring data quality to drive meaningful business outcomes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and deploying ML models using Python, and will be skilled in MLOps practices and Cloud-based AI/ML tools.

Note: Due to the nature of our current contracts, we are unable to consider candidates requiring visa sponsorship or those seeking Corp-to-Corp (C2C) arrangements. Only candidates eligible to work directly for JR Software Solutions, Inc. on a W-2 or 1099 basis will be considered.

Note: People within 2hrs drivable distance of Atlanta, GA are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and optimize machine learning models and algorithms.

Research, develop, and set up machine learning tools and frameworks.

Select appropriate data sets and data representation methods to enhance model performance.

Identify and resolve data distribution issues that may impact the performance of machine learning models.

Verify the quality of data used in machine learning experiments and ensure data integrity.

Transform data science prototypes into scalable and production-ready ML models.

Perform statistical analysis and run machine learning tests to validate models.

Analyze test results and use insights to continuously refine and improve machine learning models.

Qualifications:

6+ years of experience in programming within the Python machine learning space.

Strong experience with the full lifecycle of machine learning model development and management.

Experience with MLOps practices and tools such as MLFlow, AutoML, SparkML, and other ML libraries.

Good hands on experience working with RAG and Chatbots

Proven experience with Cloud-based ML/AI practices, including deploying and managing models on cloud platforms.

Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

Experience with SAS programming and integration.

Familiarity with MLOps platforms like Domino DataLabs and Databricks ML.

Experience working on GenAI projects, including LLM and OpenAI model integration.

Strong knowledge of cloud engineering principles and best practices.

Understanding of data engineering concepts and practices.
