FIBER LASER OPERATOR

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Fiber Laser Operator for a company based in Tuscaloosa, AL. In this role, you will be integral to our manufacturing process, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and machining skills to operate advanced laser cutting equipment. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, your role involves interpreting blueprints and ensuring precision in fabrication and quality inspection.

Range varies based on experience

Schedule and Hours

Monday through Friday, 3 30 pm to 12 00 am.

Fiber Laser Operator Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate laser cutting machines with prevision to ensure accurate cuts and quality output.

• Inspect and document first piece and intermittent inspections during product run.

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project requirements.

• Uphold safety standards while contributing to a collaborative team environment, ensuring high-quality output in our dynamic production setting.

Fiber Laser Operator Qualifications and Requirements

• At least 1 year of Fiber Laser Operation required.

• Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in manufacturing processes.

• Proficiency in CNC laser cutting and programming.

• Ability to read blueprints and utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.

• Familiarity with GD&T and quality inspection techniques.

• Experience with hand tools, fabrication, and tooling.

• Knowledge of operating forklifts.

• Knowledge of tech tables.
