Civil Engineer

Selectek has an immediate need for a Civil Engineer in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Job description:

Design, develop, create and maintain small-scale through to large-scale projects in a safe, timely and sustainable manner

Project management multiple simultaneous projects

Responsible for client development and retention

Assess potential risks, materials and costs

Monitor progress and compile reports in project status

Required:

BS/MA in Civil Engineering

P.E. in SC or NC

Minimum 8-10 years of experience in commercial and residential development

Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as Civil 3D

Hydrologic and hydraulic modeling

Proficiency in site layout, storm water, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals etc.

Project management skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills Preferred:

ICPR/StormWise proficiency

Job order details:

Healthy mix of commercial and residential development projects, including airports, subdivisions, multi-family, "City of" municipal projects, schools.

Design, project management, mentoring and checking work of EIT's. Lots of projects in SC AND NC as well.

Sponsorship: No, must be U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder

Salary range: $150,000 - $160,000 + 80% paid medical insurance and 401K with 7% match.

Location of job: Myrtle Beach, SC

Hours and shift: Mon-Thurs 7:30-5:30 Fri 7:30-12PM
