Compensation: $25 - $40 flat rate with tier bonus programs weekly

professional development programs

Service Technician Responsibilities:

Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership in a highly professional timely manner

Test drive vehicles, and accurately test components and systems, using specific diagnostic tools and specialty electronics service equipment

Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems and computer modules

Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional maintenance or service recommendations are needed

Provide estimates of projected time needed for additional repairs and discuss future repairs that may evolve after inspecting vehicles.

Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications with detailed description and proper documentation and coding

Service Technician Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

At least 2 years of experience as an auto technician

State Inspection and Emissions licenses

Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance with high attention to detail

Fast, eager learner and team player with good professional attitude

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong customer service skills

Computer skills and willingness to learn new problems

Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment

Responsible with customers vehicle and clean driving record with a valid driver’s license

attentive to surroundings and perceptive to possible vehicle issues that can be detected
