We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems Engineer to join our team at Collinear Group. You will play a crucial role in supporting our clients and the success of their aerospace systems. Your expertise will support our mission to make complex aerospace and defense product lifecycles elegantly simple, bending the industry cost curve.
Responsibilities include:
Developing systems and component level requirements for design and verification within the Systems Engineering operating groups and projects
Collaborating with engineers to define requirements and interfaces for custom components
Designing, developing, specifying and validating airplane health diagnostics and prognostics
Troubleshooting airplane health alerts and onboard systems issues
Supporting airline operators to build airplane health requirements and specifications
Requirements
What you'll need:
3+ years of experience with systems engineering experience from concept design, requirements development, implementation through verification
Ability to write scripts, macros, and software to assist with analysis and troubleshooting
Able to analyze engineering documentation including schematics and interface control documents
Understand and develop combinatorial and state machine logic requirements
Nice to have:
Experience with Airplane Condition Monitoring System (ACMS)
Experience with airplane systems functions
Experience with modeling
Experience with Boeing airplane protocols
Some ability to work onsite in our Puget Sound service area.

For this position, Collinear offers a salary range of $144,000 to $165,000 (DOE) with bonus and profit sharing programs, health insurance, HSA contributions, a 401(k) program with company contributions, nine paid holidays, 15 days of PTO accrued per year, non-prescribed amount of sick leave, flexible schedules and remote working capabilities, and multiple company-sponsored employee events - all in support of creating an employee-focused company.
