TITLE: Vice President of Franchise Sales
LOCATION: Dallas, TX
DEPT: Development
REPORTS TO: Chief Development Officer
Position Summary:
Vice President of Franchise Sales will be responsible and manage the entire franchise life cycle from lead generation to successful signings, and eventual renewals. The individual must have effectively worked in franchise commerce, recruitment, development and operations in a franchisee and franchisor hospitality focused brand. Vice President of Franchise Sales needs a proven record of success in building relationships, engaging candidates through the sales process and working with executive management throughout the entire sales process. This is a core role at the front end of the Support Team, Operations, Bakery Owners, and Finance to help lay the foundation for our growth goals both short term and long term.
Accountabilities/Duties:
• All accountabilities will be first person or the function of the sales team.
• Lead, manage, and evaluate the sales team.
• Source candidates, generate leads top of the funnel.
• Qualification of candidates and markets.
• Partner with Real Estate and Construction teams to provide full market development opportunities and ensure timely openings.
• Coordinate and guide candidates through the screening process; interviews, financial approvals, work evaluations, discovery days.
• Develop and deliver presentations with candidates via phone, online, and in person.
• Perform and manage the background check process, financial approvals, and discovery days.
• Manage the sales pipeline and coordinate internal support and resources.
• Educate prospects about the brand, culture, vision and values.
• Diligently respond and follow-up with all franchise inquiries.
• Coordinate and confirm all travel arrangements for discovery days and office visits with Executive Team members.
• Coordinate and work with team on all FDD and franchise agreements through execution.
• Assist and educate prospects through the broader brand process of next steps; operations approval, financial approval, development agreements, real estate, and construction processes.
• Effectively close sales and meet company sales targets.
• Manage the renewal process.
• Provide relevant feedback to executive management on sales processes, forecasting, and tools.
• Provide seamless turnover to the next phase of Development.

Skills and Abilities:
• Proven franchise sales expert, with experience determining candidates with the right fit, acumen, and chance for success.
• Experience with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• An analytical approach, used in a wide range of responsibilities, from candidate vetting, territory communications, and feedback to improve the sales processes.
• Ability to lead, communicate, collaborate and influence cross-functionally.
• Ability to manage time and travel; individual and team.
• Ability to travel ~50%
Education/Certifications and Work Experience Requirements:
• BA/BS preferred.
• 5-7 years’ equivalent working experience
• Experience with BI, CRM, and market planning platforms preferred.
