DD Behavioral Health Clinician – Omaha, NE

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities? KVC is seeking a Developmental Disabilities (DD) Behavioral Health Clinician to play a key role in providing behavioral analysis, assessments, and support plans for individuals receiving services through the Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Waiver.

In this role, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure individuals receive person-centered support to lead safe, fulfilling, and self-directed lives. Your role:

Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavioral Support Plans (BSPs) and Safety Plans.

Provide behavioral consultation and oversight, ensuring comprehensive care and support.

Collaborate with internal and external teams, including caregivers, case professionals, and Shared Living Specialists, to implement effective behavioral interventions.

Attend Individual Service Plan (ISP) meetings and provide recommendations for ongoing behavioral support.

Maintain 25 billable hours per week, ensuring timely assessments, documentation and reporting.

Travel as needed within the Omaha and Lincoln areas, with occasional statewide travel.

What You Bring:

LIMHP (Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner) certification.

Master’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or a related field.

Two+ years of experience in Developmental Disabilities, Child Welfare, Juvenile Justice, or Mental Health Treatment (preferred).

Strong technology skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and experience with state-mandated Therapy database (preferred).

A team player with a commitment to excellence, professionalism, and ethical standards.

Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
