Position Description

Program Coordination & Delivery

Support the planning and execution of L&D programs, including leadership workshops, professional development sessions, and onboarding experiences.

Manage logistics for learning initiatives, including scheduling, communications, materials preparation, and follow-up.

Learning Systems & Content Management

Oversee administration of the Learning Management System (LMS) and digital learning platforms, including user management, reporting, and content updates.

Coordinate the rollout of LinkedIn Learning, compliance training, and custom learning pathways.

Facilitation & Support

Deliver training sessions and facilitate small-group learning experiences in-person and virtually as needed.

Support internal trainers and external facilitators to ensure high-quality learner experiences.

Partnerships & Communication

Partner with HR, IT, and department leaders to assess learning needs and ensure timely implementation of programs.

Serve as a liaison between U.S. Soccer and external learning vendors or consultants.

Evaluation & Reporting

Track participation, gather feedback, and generate reports on learning outcomes to support continuous improvement.

Maintain accurate records and help prepare updates for leadership on L&D activities.

Equity & Inclusion

Integrate inclusive learning practices to ensure development opportunities are accessible, representative, and aligned with U.S. Soccer’s values.Requirements:

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or related field

3–5 years of experience supporting learning and development, talent programs, or professional training

Experience with learning platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Learning, LMS systems) and managing logistics for training events

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Comfortable working in a dynamic, high-performance environment with shifting priorities

General knowledge of soccer

Capable of working in fast-paced and demanding environments

Must be able to connect “micro” details to the “macro” vision and mission

Proficient experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in sports, nonprofit, or mission-driven organizations.

Knowledge of adult learning principles and inclusive training practices.

Familiarity with virtual facilitation tools (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.).
